چکیده
This study was carried out to manage groundnut seed rot in Mubi, Adamawa State Nigeria. Groundnut Rot reported all the three location surveyed and average incidences market 21%. Mubi New Market showed 25% as highest percentage, followed by Old with 20% MubiKuturu 18%. Four organisms were isolated from lesions on Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) follows; Aspergillus niger, Fusariumsolani, Rhizopus stolonifer flavus. The pathogen most frequently occurring (67.22%), niger (15.56%), flavus (15%) least Fusarium solani (2.22%). Pathogenicity test confirmed that four fungal isolates pathogenic level of severity assessed being severe 83.3%, 50%, 50% 33.33%. Plant extracts employed control vegetative mycelial growth aqueous ethanolic leaf neem at 20%, 40% 60% concentration. In vitro application for controlled better compared ethanol extracts. There complete inhibition while progressive growth. a significant difference fungi both increase concentration p= 0.0001 control. It is recommended use antimicrobials commonly found populated areas rural can be used reduce chemical costs smallholder farmers' over-reliance agricultural chemicals reduce.

Mammalian ovary is a dynamic organ that is responsible for the production of competent oocytes required for successful fertilization and early embryonic development [1,2]. The meiotic competency folliocular is achieved within the follicular environment during final stages of folliculogenesis [3-7]. The achievement of meiotic competency starts in diplotene arrested oocytes, possessing germinal v...

متن کاملStructural, morphological and optical characterization of green synthesized ZnS nanoparticles using Azadirachta Indica (Neem) leaf extract
ZnS nanoparticles have been synthesized using various amounts of aqueous Azadirachta Indica (Neem) leaf extract as capping agent and stabilizer. The synthesized nanoparticles were studied by FTIR, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive analysis of X-rays (EDAX) and UV-Visible spectroscopy. FTIR spect...

متن کاملAntimicrobial Potency of Neem (azadirachta Indica) Leaf Extracts on Pathogenic Bacteria Isolated from Wound Infections
The use of herbal decoctions in treating wound infections is increasing especially in developing countries including Nigeria. The increasing incidence of wound infections, coupled with the scarce foreign exchange to import potent antibiotics into the country and the inherent capacity of the wound pathogens to resist the therapeutic effects of such antibiotics have necessitated the use of altern...
